[OSGeo Africa] SRTM 30m DEM

ASTER accuracy is less and there are many anololies and spikes, ASTER uses imagery wheras SRTM 30m is radar based and is far more penetrating. The SRTM data has gone through many iterations of editing/cleaning

Still on that. In layman terms how does this DEM compare to the ASTER 30m
DEM (https://www.jspacesystems.or.jp/ersdac/GDEM/E/4.html).
