INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Pretoria based client with a national footprint has vacancies on their
9 month Internship Programme, expected to commence in February 2015.

Young South Africans, between the ages of 18-35 years with 0-3 years
working experience will be considered.

Interns will be appointed on a 9 month contract basis with a stipend
of R7500 per month.  Training for the 9 month period will take place
in the North West Province.


Requirements:
Graduates - Tertiary qualifications equivalent to NQF 7 (Minimum of
National Diploma or first Degree) in one of the following areas:
Foreign Language Studies, International Relations, Political Science,
Developmental Studies, Physics, GIS, Information Science, Mathematics,
Transnational Issues-Climate Change,  Food and Water Security,
Behavioural Sciences, Social Sciences, Journalism, Security Science,
Risk Management, Economics, Socio-Economics, Law, Criminology, IT
Electronic Engineering, or N6-S3 Electronics (Radio or
Telecommunication), History, Policy Studies, Philosophy, Physics,
Forensic Auditing and Forensic Accounting, Conflict Studies, Maritime
Security and Maritime Law, Mechanical Engineering, Public
Administration and  Anthropology.
Computer Literacy
Be able to use technological devices and equipment
Sound general knowledge of current affairs (local and international)
Valid driver’s license would be an advantage
Physically fit
Willing to learn and undergo further training
Independent person who can be relocated to any geographical area in South Africa
Prepared to work irregular hours and travel often and on short notice
