Hi, Immo
Apparently SAWS will provide their data free of charge if it is not for
commercial purposes. So it may be worth sending them a motivation
explaining what you intend to use the data for or, better yet, get
someone from the W-Cape Govt to request the data from them.
I know someone who has obtained rainfall data from SAWS for research
purposes free of charge.
