Full Job Description

AfriGIS is looking for young individuals with a passion for GIS and Data to
join our team for a 12-month
internship.

The purpose of this 12-month internship is to provide newly qualified
graduates with the opportunity to
gain meaningful workplace experience, and to develop their skills.

*Minimum Requirements*
*Qualifications & Experience:*

   - A tertiary qualification in Geoinformation Science or equivalent

No prior work experience is needed


*Main Responsibilities*
The main roles and responsibilities:

   - Data capturing
   - Data cleaning
   - Map production
   - Data maintenance and editing
   - Geocoding

*Other Competencies*

The ideal candidate will:

   - Be detail orientated

Have good communication skills (oral and written).
