individuals in developing learning material and GIS are requested to
provide a proposal and a quotation on the development of a manual or
workbook in support of the GIS In Schools programme.<br>
<br>GIS has become part of the geography schools curricula for grades
10 -12 as indicated in the National Curriculum Statement. Additional
information on the geography curricula (Grades 10 - 12) can be found

<br>Please note that the manual / workbook would need to target:<br>1. teachers<br>2. learners<br>3. access to computers<br>4. no access to computers<br><br>An open source software package will be used (currently we have been providing training on QGIS). <br>
<br>Copyright of all work done would either be to the State or under Creative Commons.<br><br>Communication
will be with shortlisted companies or individuals and would be required
to provide a demonstration or make a presentation at their expense.<br>
