<pre wrap="">Dear Colleagues
We have been asked to map existing outstanding land claims according this to rural/urban.
I have made the assumption that all claims in Metros are urban. Now for the remaining claims.
I would sincerely appreciate your urgent advise on how to determine this.

Hi Aslam,<br>
<br>
Would you care to share what your base information/knowledge about
the locations of the land claim(ed) parcels is?<br>
Looking at the previous responses you have had, we are all just
stabbing in the dark.<br>
<br>
For example:<br>
<blockquote>
<ul>
<li>The date of the land claim is very relevant. What was rural
then, might well be urban now (due to urban crawl)</li>
<li>Do (all?) the Land Claims actually have geo-referencing? -
Or are we still looking at claims like: "I used to graze my
cattle from this tree to that bit of erosion"<br>
Yes, it's likely that that form of description might beg the
simplicity of "Oh, that's definitely Rural" - but what about
the (not thaaat much) earlier Constantia, Phillipi and other
similar "was agricultural, now built-up" areas around the
country?<br>
<br>
</li>
</ul>
</blockquote>
What I'm trying to say, is that what is urban now, might not have
been urban at the time of forced removal of occupants.<br>
I'm also guessing that those "was rural now urban" claims are going
to be the hot ones, due to the value of the "improvements" on those
pieces of land.<br>
<br>
So if you'd care to paint us a more detailed picture, I'm sure this
community will likely come up with some novel thoughts.<br>
<br>
Kind regards,<br>
Zoltan<br>
