<div dir="ltr">Adi, there should be a 27 digit SG code as well as a 21 digit SG code both of which would be unique in this case. If you are using the 5 digit code there will be repeats across the metro. Also the erven layer is notoriously buggy, do not confuse it with the original diagrams on title deeds.<div>Trust all's well,</div><div>Chris</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr">Chris Berens<br><a href="http://www.mapland.co.za" target="_blank">www.mapland.co.za</a><br>+27 (0)82 567 9322<br><br></div></div>

Hopefully someone on this list has experience with how the City of<br>
Cape Town erven are arranged. I received a shapefile containing all<br>
erven in the City of Cape Town from City Maps. It seems that in Cape<br>
Town, erf numbers can be repeated and it is not clear how to<br>
differentiate between them.<br>
<br>
I know that this is a very vague question, let me know if there is any<br>
more information that you need to understand what I am talking about.<br>

Many thanks<br>
