For the accuracy of 1m2 that you are aiming for, I don't think that a mobile phone or a hand-held GPS (no matter what brand!) are going to do the job. I am not a surveyor, but I think that you are going to need to at least use a differential GPS to get that
sort of accuracy. <br>

Maybe a surveyor on the list can provide you with advice as to the most cost effective way to delineate the habitat units that you are trying to map.<br>
