Thanks Bruce,
I gratefully accept the nomination for FOSS4G2009 chair.

If selected, my intent is to make very few decisions myself, but rather 
to collate the opinions of the group and speak on their behalf.

I'm also very aware that FOSS4G will only be successful with a strong 
community backing it, getting the work done.

So I see the chair's role is just to act as a FOSS4G point of contact to 
the outside world.
