rather than wait for local gov'ts to get into gear, may I humbly
suggest to create some new geodata pages somewhere in here:

  http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Aust-NZ

and start populating it with relevant links ourselves? (or links
to official lists of links as the become avail)
