Information on this as well. There are a number of tertiary institutions
involved with the CRC.</font>

OSGeo is (if it exists). </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">- are there enough interested members
to support it (I've only seen posts from a couple of people). </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif"> If we don't have the support
on the ground, it may not be worth the effort to establish a local
chapter.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">- the legal standing of the chapter.
I wouldn't want to see too many decisions being made that would</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif"> potentially leave individual
members liable.</font>

need to get this right if we want it to succeed for the longer term.</font>

Has there been any discussion, by the OSGeo<br>

any "education outreach" in conjunction with<br>
the FOSS4G2007 conference in Victoria?<br>

In particular, I had the idea that on Friday<br>
September 28, 2007, there may be the possibility<br>
for people who attended the conference to do some<br>
"outreach".<br>
<br>
Looking at the minutes of the last Education Committee<br>
meeting, I see mention of post-secondary education, but<br>
I wonder if there exists the possibility of educational<br>
opportunities for Victoria K-12 schools(OK, maybe "K"<br>
is a bit young, but you get my point :-)<br>
