<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I suspect that we'll still have problems
with VMWare images. From memory, drivers for network cards, graphics etc
are built into the image. Therefore unless all PC / Laptops are of the
same type, there is a high probability of problems.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Another option could be some grunty
machines supporting several Operating Systems and remote access from either
Remote Desktop, VNC etc (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_remote_desktop_software)</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">A live CD may still be the best option
though, particularly if it is based on a stable distribution's CD such
as Ubuntu. This should overcome many of the IT compatability issues.</font>
