<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">A web 2.0, crowd sourcing, social networking development, OpenStreetMap (<A href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/">http://www.openstreetmap.org</A>) is a rapidly growing global project to create a complete map of the world, providing free, rich geographic data to anyone for any use. The project was started because most maps you may think of as free actually have legal or technical restrictions on their use, holding back people from using them in creative, productive, or unexpected ways. Since 2004 OpenStreetMap has grown to cover the world. With good data coverage in most major urban areas of the world, OpenStreetMap provides a viable alternative to proprietary mapping data, encouraging the development of innovative software.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
