Eh, the reinstall already happened, and afaik we're using RH 5.
Well, I guess we could all double back to SDE over Oracle then?
Is that supported? As far as I know all products are using the SDE
client API so in the end it does not matter what the backend
database is.
Pity as it would have been interesting to see what performance 
difference there is between straight PG access and access to PG
mediated by SDE.
