[Benchmarking] Can I stop the other servers on the Linux machine?

Hi,
I'd like to make a first run of benchmarks, just to check
the requests are working fine.

How do I stop the other server so that the file system cache
can be maximized?

I added instructions on the wiki on how to start and stop
GeoServer manually, would be nice to have the others.

 From what I see I could get away with stopping Apache, which
would probably bring down MapServer, QGIS and Mapnik with it,
and manually kill MapViewer and Constellation... but I would
not like to make damage to the configurations by doing so.
