I did not answer to this through the mailing list but some of the
"facts" in those mails caught me pretty unprepared and later they turned
out to not be facts after all (for example that GTK had supposedly been
turned down form incubation). I want to learn more about this.

As a note: The agenda is open for anyone to edit, I just helped
facilitate your request because you seemed a little wary of going ahead
yourself. Our agenda sometimes even gets appended during our meeting by
somebody with something critical on their hand. So far this did not
interrupt our regular work so for now we are happy as it is.
