[Board] resignation

Indeed, it seems like the addition of LocationTech into the mix, is 
causing our beloved OSGeo community to fracture.  Whether we admit it or 
not, never have a flown home from a FOSS4G with so low of a feeling, so 
confused, as this time.

I heard that some are even whispering of a merge between the two 
foundations.  Some are even wondering what would happen if OSGeo went 
away.  All may seem like fun and games to think of, but even that there 
are thoughts of this, is shocking to me.

But I will stand for OSGeo, for our community, for every type of 
'member' in our FOSS4G family.

It utterly breaks my heart that things, that happened on Saturday and 
now on the list, are happening...
