[Board] resignation

Hey Jachym,

with public discussion, it’s simply the feeling I got with the LocationTech discussion, some people rather want to put an end to the discussions, that is very clear to me.

Also what Michael wrote confirms this, it is the most contentious topic.

I personally was very interested to see what a combined conference could do for open source geospatial (a merger doesn’t make sense to me at this point), but there is no point in fighting the powers that be.
