He's an active MapGuide developer who is actively interested in working with MGE. We now have 2 members from the MG community. If it's important to remove 1 and reduce it to 1, that's fine.<BR>

Questions have been raised about Gordon Luckett being elected a member<BR>
when he was not even on the nomination list.<BR>

Using Google as my friend, I get the impression that he was intending to<BR>
be at the Chicago meeting but could not make it and is an avid user of<BR>
MapGuide.<BR>

Is it possible that he was a "write in"? Laura, I gather you didn't<BR>
check the votes against the nomination list?<BR>
<BR>
I can live with him being a write it, but it is intensely embarrassing for<BR>
me to have not known in advance. I feel like a bit of an idiot for not<BR>
having checked the votes against the nomination list, but I guess it never<BR>
occurred to me as being necessary.<BR>

Lets figure out what the board position is on this. Are we willing to let<BR>
him stand as a member even though he was not nominated?<BR>
