Dear All,<div><br></div><div>One of the items on the agenda for yesterday's board meeting was to discuss the archiving of FOSS4G papers on ELoGeo <a href="http://elogeo.nottingham.ac.uk/">http://elogeo.nottingham.ac.uk/</a>. This was brought up by Suchith Anand and Jeremy Morley at the Centre for Geospatial Sciences at the University of Nottingham and I promised I would raise it.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I'm strongly of the opinion that there are too many places where useful material on open source gis, like case studies, academic papers, etc are squirrelled away and that their overall impact is lessened because it's impossible to know what material is out there. I would like to discuss the possibility of OSGeo using a resource like ELoGeo for storing educational material/papers etc- in effect that ELoGeo becomes our "go-to" repository that we point people at.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thoughts?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div><div><br></div><div>Jo<br>-- <br><div><b></b><b>Jo Cook</b><br>Astun Technology Ltd, The Coach House, 17 West Street, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 7RL, UK <br>
