FYI: Jeff McKenna stepped back from the Board of Directors and
OSGeo presidency for personal reasons and with immediate effect.
For the interim time until a new president has been elected I will
answer on behalf of the OSGeo Foundation in my role as President
Emeritus. My name is Arnulf Christl, co-founder of OSGeo, served 6
years on the board of directors and 4 years as president. <br>

Thank you very much for the draft letter which I have (privately)
forward to the Board of Directors for further consultation (this
address <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:board@lists.osgeo.org">board@lists.osgeo.org</a> is a publicly visible and archived
mailing list). <br>

There are already quite a lot of activities going on between UN
departments and offices and it would be great to have them come
together under a more formal relationship as described in the
draft letter. <br>

myself directly until the board has sorted out who will be your
