<br>
This is an extension profile of DC that was initiated/backed up by
OSGeo members.<br>
An interesting read is here:<br>

I have looked around for implementations. pycsw does not implement
it, and looks like GeoNetwork does not implement it either (based
on what I found in <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/geonetwork/schema-plugins">https://github.com/geonetwork/schema-plugins</a>).<br>
<br>
Given my involvement in data.gov I would like to follow up on
this, if that is ok with the rest of you.<br>

Dear Dr. Raghavan,
<br>
<br>
OSGEO's wiki has an entry for DCLite4G at
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/DCLite4G">http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/DCLite4G</a>. DCLite4G is "short for
'Dublin Core
<br>
Lightweight Profile for Geospatial.' It is a minimal information
model for
<br>
metadata about geospatial data." I notice that the last update is
<br>
September 2008.
<br>
<br>
Is OSGEO still promoting DCLite4G? Who uses it?
<br>
<br>
Please refer my inquiry to someone who is knowledgeable about
DCLite4G.
<br>
<br>
Kind regards,
<br>
Julie Maitra
