The voting period for charter members is over.
# Nominations
We had 31 nominations. Unfortunately, two of the nominees were not accepted:
Carl Reed (USA)
Chris Atherton (Netherlands)
They were not able to create a OSGeo profile in time.
The profile creation is still a problem. New members usually do more
than one attempt, and several dangling accounts are created each year.

The SAC team might have to remove such accounts.
# Voting
The elections went smoothly, without any SMTP issues (for the first
time). Before the election started, we updated all emails (from the
members database with the ones in wwww.ogeo.org). During the elections,
we fixed a couple of more emails. We still have around 20 members with
failing emails.
This year, 304 votes were casted. It is the best score for charter
member elections, so far (209 in 2019, 276 in 2018).
