<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The University of Muenster , Germany , University Jaume I, Spain , and New University of Lisbon, Portugal, provide a new Masters Program in Geospatial Technologies. The English-taught Masters program has been approved in the educational program of excellence of the European Union ERASMUS MUNDUS. The Masters program targets international applicants from all over the World, unfortunately on this last call we can only accept applicants from EU countries (or students holding an EU passport). <span style="font-weight: bold; color: red;">Extended Application deadline: August 12</span>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: Arial;">Study program</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">: The English-language, three-semester Masters program will enroll up to 32 students per year, starting in the fall/winter semester of the academic year 2009/10.</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The first semester offers 2 different learning paths, according to the previous know-how and requirements of the students. The courses at UJI - Spain , focus on the provision of know-how in informatics, new media, and GI basics. UNL provides modules in mathematics, data modelling, and GI basics.</span>
</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The second semester at the WWU - Germany , provides basic and advanced courses in GI Science. In addition, courses in additional key competencies (project management, research methods) are provided. Optional for selected courses is the alternative attendance of a summer school.</span>
</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Master thesis in the third semester is closely linked to ongoing research projects of one of the partners.</span></li></ul>
