Davis Report:
I've been dutifully converting Davisite's to the FOSS way of GIS. 2 FOSS

GIS quarters in a row (Python/GDAL/OL/QGIS/R) and next quarter we're 
doing spatial stats with R. So we'll have a good size group of students 
  coming up from Davis.
