Somehow we missed this one on the radar, David you interested in going
and finding some more local folks, there appears to be a session on Open
Source and this is the first I've heard of it.

Conference Site

The entire conference will take place at the beautiful,
recently-renovated Anaheim Marriott. The hotel has offered URISA
Conference attendees a discounted rate of $149 single/double with
in-room internet access included ! Note that there is a large city-wide
conference immediately following the URISA conference and space is
filling up in all area hotels. The Marriott is holding rooms for URISA
through August 28 …don't delay making your travel arrangements. Also,
consider coming the weekend before the conference (not after) if you
plan to spend time sight-seeing around Southern California to avoid
large crowds in the area.
