[California] AGU 2012 - Meet other OSGEOniks?

I am definitely interested in doing something for the AGU crowd.. in an 
ideal world, I would throw a party for them!  but no budget.. a meeting 
is a great idea. 

The synergy is that there may be people at AGU who do software 
development, or are heavy OSS users, and they could meet OSGeo a bit. I 
would like to attend this myself, I am close by, its easy to get to...
