[California] Hacker Dojo and GIS Day

Great! I have their contact info since I did the GIS Day keynote at Berkeley last year. 

Is there something specific we want to organize? Some set of OS GIS tutorials?

I think it would be interesting to have an open source gis track. Alex's QGIS python plugin walkthrough he did at the GeoMeetup would definitely fit the bill. Not sure if he'd want to do the drive though and I dont want to volunteer him, but I am thinking something along those lines would be of interest to that audience.

Worst case, perhaps we can repeat the presentations we gave at our yearly meeting? 


Otherwise, we could do stick to a pure hackathon, but in my experience those work best if we don't make them too broad (center them around a specific small set of datasets, problem, purpose as opposed to purely open ended).

What does the list think we should do?
