We have just started discussing the proposal [1] but due to the nature of FOSDEM a focus on developers and cooperation with other open source projects seems logical.So a great opportunity for those in need of a conference early in the year :-) In October we will now whether it will happen.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>2) I think the goal of the committee should be to have a great conference every year. Maybe the main focus should be how you can make this happen by supporting the organizers). The reason I say this is because I'm not convinced that setting too many rules such as when the conference should happen, who should attend, ... will help reaching the goal.
