If dates are flexible, the first half of July (as done in 2023, 2024 and 2025) may lead to an increased participation.<br></div><div dir="auto">- tracks: the proposal does not mention which tracks are planned to be organised. Since a few years already, posters have been replaced with lighting talks and I think this has worked quite well. It would also avoid extra-sessions after 6:00 pm (which may not be well-attended) and to keep the rooms free for the BoF sessions (which btw are also not mentioned).<br></div><div>- the proposal does not mention the possibility to offer scholarships: is this foreseen?</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you,</div><div>Marco<br></div><div><br></div></div></div></div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">Il giorno mer 17 set 2025 alle ore 09:48 Tõnis Kärdi via Conference-Europe <<a href="mailto:conference-europe@lists.osgeo.org" target="_blank">conference-europe@lists.osgeo.org</a>> ha scritto:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">Thanks Astrid!<br>

One thing that popped in my head was the timing - the proposed dates <br>
(27.07-02.08) are maybe too close to the Hiroshima global FOSS4G <br>
(30.08-5.09)? Although, as the venue is at a university so we are <br>
constrained by the university's own schedule.<br>
