[Conference_dev] Use of Indico for FOSS4G 2007

Folks,

I was very impressed with the Indico application used for FOSS4G 2006 to
help manage the conference.  Are we planning to use it again for 2007?
My understanding is that Sea to Sky will be handling registration and it
seems likely they will have a preferred application for this.  Do they also
have a convenient way of handling abstracts, scheduling sessions, and all
of that?

My personal opinion is that I would like to use the Indico platform year to
year so we build up some experience with it rather than doing things very
differently every year. On the other hand, I can imagine this being at
least somewhat incompatible with the preferred systems of an organizer
like Sea to Sky.
