Venka,

Well, I don't think Luc and Claude consider themselves Canadian.
But I can see that currently only Canada and the EU are represented
- no US or Asian representation at all for instance.

The FOSS4G 2007 conference governance document at:
   http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/FOSS4G_2007_Governance

does indicate that anyone interested in participating and working in
support of the conference is encouraged to join the FOSS4G 2007 mailing
list, and contribute there.

I'll leave it to the chair to respond about how he feels about
extending the official (voting) committee membership.
