We have 120 slots, that's it. Everything beyond that has to be  
something other than oral presentations.

No, I really do. These people aren't going to self-organize, they are  
going to have questions, and I don't want to be the one answering them.

(a) poster boards are not free, we have to rent them
(b) not everyone who submitted an abstract will be interested in  
postering

The poster coordinator can figure out the intersection of demand and  
supply and ensure everyone knows where to go. And they can be someone  
not me.

Well, given that folks are independently asking for posters and we  
*are* going to have a lot of non-acceptances, I can see the need to  
do a poster session.  I also see the need for someone to handle the  
arrangements.  Simply assuming every non-talker will poster is a non- 
starter though.

Perhaps someone will step up to help organize *cough* ?
