Hi,
I am on my way now to Intergeo (trade fair with 15,000 visitors) to the
biggest OSGeo Park ever with 12 companies exhibiting (and co-sponsoiring
the OSGeo Park) and a dozen booths manned by OSGeo software projects,
FOSSGIS (the local chapter), OpenStreetMap and OSGeo.

Busy days again...

Btw: What category does Intergeo address? Absolutely user and business
centric, so maybe this is another option to explore who to reconcile the
needs of users and developers for meetings? If you look at the floorplan
of the OSGeo booth
http://www.fossgis.de/wiki/Datei:INTERGEO2011_OSGeoPark_Standplan.png
it holds space for presentations and an audience of 70 people where we
give a succession of 20 presentations per day, each 15 minutes, no breaks.

So it sums up to a nice event with lots of user centric activities,
business oiptions and some conference aspect.

...all organized by the humble FOSSGIS German language local chapter.
Nice exampe of what can be done.

Best regards,
Arnulf
