I am inclined to agree with Dave, I hate to see us losing lots of people. It's unfortunate we didn't have more votes, but also I think we didn't have a reminder to get votes in which I have seen in the past.

We're in an unfortunate spot here where all paths forward have some drawbacks. But I wonder if we should be open to extending (reopening) the voting deadline since clearly some people weren't aware of it. If we had more people voting then Prague may have got the second one they would need to be considered further ... or to put it another way, the threshold of two votes to continue was set, I would assume, based on the premise that most of the committee voted.
Paul - was it really your intent to have all these folks resign? We're losing a wealth of experience here ...

In the past - reminders have been sent out to follow-up with folks who haven't voted, and clearly some didn't realize the voting deadline had come up.
Not sure if we can go back and change the voting process -- what's done is done -- but surely we can keep our committee together assuming everyone would prefer to stay on it?
