[OSGeo-Discuss] Newcomer to MapGuide OS

Hi all!
 
I am new to GIS in general and MapGuide OS in particular. I have
installed the latest stable version of MapGuide and been reading the
manuals and developer guides for it and FDO.
 
I have the task to implement a GIS application and thinking seriously to
use MapGuide. My question is in which format geospatial data can be
imported to MapGuide and used.
