[OSGeo-Discuss] IETF and Geo-location

I just wanted to alert you on the work of the IETF in relation to
geo-location.

Basically most of the effort is to give location information to various
devices using current internet protocols.

One example, a computer connects to the internet and recive infromation
about its location, or get its location to be used in future Internet
transactions.
