[OSGeo-Discuss] Proposal: OSGeo Cartographic Library

I have noticed over the years the unmatched quality of prints from  
GMT.  Unfortunately GMT is not user friendly.

I also found out I print to PDF first then send the PDF to the  
printer, this ensure best quality check. However I think PDF has  
issues with transparency.
