Hi,

In Ubuntu, /bin/sh has been changed from bash to dash. The scripts does not work under the dash shell.

Verify that bash exists on your system.

If bash exist on your system, check the section on FDO Install in the following:

Yes I am running kubuntu...

Are there known problems around this distro and fdo?

Hi,

The script runs under the bash shell.

Are you running a version of Linux that is not using the bash shell (like Ubuntu)?

Hi,

You should run the build_linux.sh script instead of the configure script directly.

hello, I'm a new user of MapGuide and I've some problems building the FDO 3.3.0.<http://3.3.0.>

After executing the ./configure there is an error "error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in"

Where is the problem?
