Hello All,

I work for a government Institute in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil (Amazonia). It's a Brazilian Research Institute for Health called, Fiocruz (www.amazonia.fiocruz.br or www.fiocruz.br) .
Here we work with scientists and students of many areas, and we are starting a group to work with Geomatics using Free Software.
Till 30th March we have to write short courses proposals, because we have a small budget to pay travel tickets and everything else (hotel, food, transportation) for teachers (which needs to be researchers) who can give this short courses.
I thought about some courses with foss4g and I wanted to know if someone want to take about two weeks to visit the Amazon Rainforest and give this courses.
The courses I thought are:
- Spatial Analysis with GvSig
- Spatial Analysis and Image Processing with Grass
- Spatial Analysis and Image Processing with ILWIS
- Statistics for Spatial Data with R
- Any other course with free software and anything related to health is welcome too.
I will be glad to hear if someone is interested, I have short time to write the proposal so be fast.
