[OSGeo-Discuss] Japan chapter receives “Japanese OSS Encouragement Award” by IPA

Thanks Nick and all for the congratulatory messages.

Such recognition was possible due to great software and
people that make up OSGeo. It is a recognition to the OSGeo
community as a whole.

BTW, IPA (IT promotion agency Japan) has earlier funded GRASS and
Mapserver internationalization in 2004 and also recently supported
in the development of other FOSS4G tools too.
