[OSGeo-Discuss] New charter members WELCOME

Hi New charter members, welcome on-board.
The Board elections will soon follow.

See the distribution of the Charter members by their country /Lat Long..
What strikes is, the non representation of vast areas/population of the world.
Let us aim at spreading the good word to every nook and corner of the world.
FOSS4G tools bring transparency to administration, and it is needed most where
transparency is ow-fully lacking / poor.

As an evangelist, I feel, we need more evangelists for FOSS4G tools.
All the wonderful coders (programmers) who carry OSGeo from strength to strength, need more people to spread the good word..
When I saw OSGeo Vietnam, gaining strength, I saw light ..
When I do not see FOSS4G2012 I dont..

Let us have those running for the Board of OSGeo react.. Please

Ravi Kumar
