[OSGeo-Discuss] Announce: pgRouting RC1 released

Any specific reason for announcing a release candidate on the discuss mailing list?

I'm sure a lot of people here would be unhappy if every OsGeo (labs / related) project would start announcing their release candidates on the discuss mailing list.
