[OSGeo-Discuss] Open LiDAR being discussed at OGC Technical Committee Meeting

For the record Scott asked me for a representative of OSGeo to speak at
the table and I of course recommended Martin. I feel it is very
important to get everyone at the table together and to talk (I've seen
strong words on all sides in e-mails and blogs flying back and forth for
months now, almost daily including today even, and none of that is any
good for anyone).

This is a great step for standards. As mpg rightly said recently, baby
steps.
