Dear colleagues,

Good news from the ESA Ministerial Council meeting, held in Seville last week. For the first time in 25 years, there will be a significant boost in funding for ESA’s world-class and inspirational science programme<http://www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Space_Science>

Details at http://www.esa.int/About_Us/Corporate_news/ESA_ministers_commit_to_biggest_ever_budget

This is good news for the GEO community [1] [2]. I thank all governments for their support for Space Science and Earth Observation.

May I request industry, SMEs, startups from the OSGeo Ecosystem to join GEO and contribute your ideas and expertise at https://www.earthobservations.org/cs_engagement.php

Best wishes,

Suchith
