As an observer to this process over the last two months, I would

like to make an addendum to the "jobs list".  I think it would be great

to see a list on the OSGEO site for volunteers to contribute to the

projects.  Personally, I would really like to get involved and make a

contribution to the foundation as a developer, but I don't know where

to plug-in.  I guess this is also an open call to those who need a

volunteer to contact me directly, but I think it would be most

beneficial to everyone if their was a job board for volunteers to go to

so they could pick out places where their skill set best matches the

need.  I think this has been touched on in a couple of different

threads, but it has been superseded (rightly so) by getting the

foundation off the ground.<br>

supports a "jobs list", either by email or on a web page.  What I have

in mind is a sort of clearing house for jobs: full-time and

fixed-contract, both "wanted" and "seeking".  Specifically, and

obviously, the intent is that this should be used for jobs centered

around our open source efforts.  (This might lend credence towards the

bug-bounty idea, which might be controversial, but...)<br>

I know that some forms of industry consortia frown on this sort of

thing, as it makes companies not want to participate in events and

forums that lead to job-hopping, but I don't think OSGeo should have

that concern.<br>
