Insitu Sensors) is a Sixth Framework Program Integrated Project of the European
Commission, aligned with GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security).
The OSIRIS project was initiated in 2006 to evaluate and improve the </FONT><A

title=http://www.opengeospatial.org/ face="Trebuchet MS">OGC</FONT></A><FONT
face="Trebuchet MS"> SWE architecture and is now entering its last few months.

<P><FONT face="Trebuchet MS">The Institute for Geoinformatics is hosting a final
public OSIRIS SWE Workshop on March 23 - 24, 2009<SPAN class=642122612-13032009>
in Muenster, Germany</SPAN>. In addition to providing an insight into the OSIRIS
project results, the OSIRIS <SPAN class=729472709-13032009>project partners
</SPAN>invite users of SWE components to share their practical experience
concerning SWE applications and discuss future needs regarding the advancement
of the SWE architecture. </FONT></P>
