In the DC area, we have an active group involved with OpenStreetMap (<a href="http://mappingdc.org">http://mappingdc.org</a>), and there is the GeoDC group (<a href="http://geo-dc.ning.com/">http://geo-dc.ning.com/</a>) which is more of a professional networking group, with monthly talks.<br>
<br>Among these groups, I think there is some crossover interest in OSGEO specific activities. <br><br>For the AAG conference coming up, we are organizing an exhibit table for OSGEO and do need people to help with the table. I don't know what other OSGEO activities are happening during AAG, but surely there must be a happy hour or something.<br>
