</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-GB link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Dear All,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The ICA Working Group on Open Source Geospatial Technologies will hold our open business meeting on 4 July 2011, from 17:00 to 18:00, in room 252b during the 25th International Cartographic Conference (ICC), Palais de Congres de Paris, Paris, France (3-8 July 2011)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The purpose of the meeting is to present the work of the Working Group to all interested delegates of the ICC, welcome new members and strengthen our activities and mission. Our aim is to develop and promote multi-national holistic research in free and open source geospatial technologies in order to make accessible the latest developments in open source tools to the wider community. The WG attempts to enhance the usage of free and open source geospatial tools among the cartographic community worldwide, especially for education. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The ICA Working Group on Open Source Geospatial Technologies will be running three day Open Source GIS walk-in sessions (13:30 – 15:30) at ICC 2011 on 5th, 6th and 7th July.
