OSGeo Java tribe,<br>
We are ever so close to having a bright and shiny OSGeoLive 6.0
release in time for OSGIS in Nottingham, however our packaging team
are floundering over some simple java packaging questions. (We have
C and linux based experience but are struggling in the java camp,
especially as one of our points of contact is on holidays).<br>

If you have some OSGeo java experience, and can spare a little time,
could you please consider dropping by IRC or email and give us some
advice.<br>

It would really help if we could have guidance around simple
questions like: java packaging, classpath questions, java library
dependencies, how to reduce size, tomcat vs resin, use of JAI,
integration with GDAL.<br>
